James MacBride
As a former General Manager, Director of Operations, Golf Course Superintendent and current Founder/CEO with over 30 years of hands-on experience, James MacBride is a seasoned professional in the landscaping and construction field. His journey began in 1993 when he embarked on his career at a local golf course, discovering his passion for working outdoors and the meticulous attention to detail required for maintaining pristine golf courses.
James's dedication to excellence led him to Rutgers University, where he enrolled in the Professional Turf Management School. Graduating with high honors in 1996, he honed his skills and knowledge, laying the foundation for a successful career in landscaping and construction.
From Golf Course Superintendent to General Manager
In 1998, James realized his dream of becoming a Golf Course Superintendent while constructing a new golf course. This opportunity allowed him to implement his Rutgers learning and led to partnerships in landscaping construction projects for the associated resort. He ascended to the role of General Manager in 2001 and held that position over the next two decades at three resorts across Missouri and Texas, honing his business acumen and construction management skills. His ability to integrate landscaping and construction knowledge proved invaluable as he led resort landscaping projects and collaborated on building construction oversight.
A Legacy of Entrepreneurship and Expertise
Throughout his career, James demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit — founding, operating, and successfully selling two businesses, and venturing into real estate by buying, renovating, and selling three homes. His construction and landscape project management expertise was further exemplified by designing and building two new homes. In 2022, driven by his passion for creating outdoor spaces that families can cherish, James founded Revolution Landscapes & Construction, LLC.
